I am recruiting a research assistant to work in the visual function lab at
the Schepens Eye Research Institute. The primary research focus of the lab
is on reading, eye movements, and visual attention in the normally-sighted
and visually-impaired. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
recruiting subjects, developing and implementing experimental protocols,
data collection, input and analysis, maintaining databases, assistance with
manuscript, presentation, and grant preparation, administrative management
of the lab. BA or BS in area related to vision science required. Good
problem solving skills, Mac and PC experience a must. Must be comfortable
working with the elderly. Knowledge of experimental psychology, visual
psychophysics or statistics a plus. Ideal position for candidate seeking
further training before pursuing a graduate degree. For more information,
