Postdoctoral Position at the Institute for Basic Research, Staten Island, NY
The development of intersensory perception in human infants
Recent Ph.D. is being sought for an NIH-funded project investigating
intersensory perceptual development in human infants. Specifically, the
project investigates the development of temporally-based auditory-visual
integration at the sensory, perceptual, and cognitive levels. We are
seeking a candidate with a background in any area of experimental
developmental science. The duties of the position involve working on all
aspects of the project including testing of infants, design of experiments,
computer-generated stimulus design, data analysis and writing of scientific
articles. Competitive salary and benefits are offered with the position.
The Institute for Basic Research is a State of New York research facility
and is located on Staten Island (one of the 5 boroughs of New York City)
