    Assistant Professor in Vision Engineering. The Department of
    Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester invites
    applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of
    engineering applied to the human eye. The successful candidate will
    join a team of scientists, engineers, and clinicians who are
    exploiting exciting technologies to improve human vision beyond
    current capabilities. Areas of particular interest include innovative
    approaches to ocular biomechanics, laser refractive surgery,
    intraocular lenses, contact lenses, and retinal imaging. The
    successful candidate will have strong ties to the Center for Visual
    Science and the Department of Ophthalmology. Applicants should submit
    a curriculum vitae, a brief statement of research and teaching
    interests, reprints and three reference letters to: David R.
    Williams, Director Center for Visual Science, University of
    Rochester, Rochester, NY 14627-0270. Review of applications will
