    The Applied Vision Association is pleased to announce the 3rd one day
    Meeting on Natural Images will be held at the University of Bristol on
    Friday the 15th of September 2000. The meeting is being arranged as a
    "satellite" to the Annual General Meeting of the British Machine Vision

    Papers are invited on all aspects of Natural Image Processing, both
    Human and Machine, including the following topics :-

    · Image Statistics
    · Higher Order Statistics
    · Models of Human Vision applied to Natural Images
    · Image Segmentation Methods
    · Other issues involving the perception of natural scenes

    Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words.

    The submission deadline is 18 August 2000.
