Project Manager - Image Processing
Description:
We are looking for a talented, creative individual with a strong background in image processing and machine vision to manage and direct the development of existing and new image processing products for genetic analysis. This position involves development and implementation of machine vision and image processing algorithms, such as image segmentation, multi-spectral image processing, and statistical image quality assessment, management of software developers, customer interaction, business development assignment, research, and providing educational services. The position requires the ability to formulate problem descriptions through interaction with end-user customers. These technical issues must then be transformed into innovative and practical algorithmic solutions. We expect our scientists to have outstanding written/oral communication skills and encourage publications and presentations in scientific journals and conferences.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 2 years management experience is required. Knowledge of biology and genetics is a plus but not necessary. Experience with Object Oriented programming is essential and Java experience is highly desirable.
