    Subject: Postdoctoral position at Salk Institute

    The Systems Neurobiology Laboratory at the Salk Institute is seeking
    a post-doctoral candidate skilled in awake primate physiology
    and/or behavioral studies of eye movements, visual attention and perception.

    The ideal candidate will have prior research experience in one or more
    of the following areas: working with alert and behaving monkeys,
    electrophysiological recording, psychophysical and/or oculomotor experiments,
    programming experience with Matlab or C on Linux platforms.
    Good interpersonal, technical, and organizational skills are expected,
    as well as a significant publication record.
    Target starting date is January 2001.
