Applications are invited for a two-year post-doctoral position at
Stanford University to study color perception using functional
magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The key job skills will include:

* Matlab level programming is essential; Unix, [Mac or
Windows] experience preferred)

* Familiarity with basic color science, color calibration
methods, and experimental design

* Experience with neuroimaging methods, and fMRI in
particular (desirable but not required)

The start time is negotiable, but I would prefer to begin this summer:
as early as July 1, 1998, and no later than the the middle of the Fall.

The purpose of the experiments will be to analyze the neural basis of
color appearance. Information describing recent research in my
laboratory on this and related topics can be obtained from the
web-site listed below. Salary level will depend upon the applicant's
experience and skills.
