Computer Graphics and Visual Perception

The Perception Laboratory in the School of Psychology, seeks a graduate
research assistant, initially for 2 years and with the opportunity for
part-time postgraduate study. Duties to include: developing computer
graphic techniques (using C/C++, OpenGL, VRML, Java and Unix shell=20
scripts) for image analysis, interactive 3-D surface and texture modelling=
=20
of faces and objects; setting up computer systems for psychological=20
studies; system management of 10 silicon Graphics and PC computers. You
will have proven ability in computing, work well in a team and have an
interest in psychology/perception.=20

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the 1B or 1A scale for
research staff, i.e. =A315,159 - =A322,785=20
per annum.
