The Measurement and Control Engineering Research Center at Idaho State
University is currently seeking to fill an Assistant Research Professor
position in the area of laser-based displacement measurement techniques.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics, engineering or a related field
with strong backgrounds in optics, lasers, structural dynamics, and
image processing are being sought. Microsoft C++ and Visual Basic
programming skills are also required. Among others the duties of this
position will include the continued development of a measurement
technique known as Electro-Optic Holography. Responsibilities to support
and provide direction to multiple master degree candidates will be
required. Opportunities to pursue your own research interests in this
general area will also be provided and encouraged. The candidate should
have proficient writing skills and a publication record. Applications
