candidates having experience in general and ocular pharmacology for
a position at the assistant professor level.</flushboth>
<flushboth>Functions</flushboth>
<flushboth>Teaching pharmacology at the undergraduate and graduate level in
the Optometry School; graduate student supervision; participation in
the development of a program of applied and basic research in ocular
pharmacology.</flushboth>
<flushboth>Qualifications</flushboth>
<flushboth>Research training (OD, PhD or PhD) in pharmacology or related
domains; completion (or anticipated completion) of a postdoctoral
position; knowledge of spoken and written French, an active program
of research in basic and applied research in the domain of interest;
ability to attract extramural funding.</flushboth>
<flushboth>Salary: According to the rate at the University of Montreal (43 906
to 62 314 CAN$).</flushboth>
<flushboth>Start date: During Fall term 1999.</flushboth>
