The Optical Society of America Annual Meeting
Sept. 26 - 29, 1999
Santa Clara Convention Center
Santa Clara, CA
EVENTS OF SPECIAL INTEREST:
Robert H. Webb will be awarded the Edwin H. Land Medal at the OSA Awards
Ceremony. This award is given "for his numerous inventions, which have
accelerated the development of new diagnostic tools to help prevent the
loss of sight."
A wine and cheese reception will be held for David R. Williams on Sunday
evening following his Tillyer Award lecture. All are invited to attend.
An evening wine tasting will be held at a local restaurant in Santa
Clara. Please contact Tina Beard at tlbeard@mail.arc.nasa.gov for
reservations, as seating is limited.
