CLINICAL RESEARCH WORKER / OPHTHALMOLOGIST
We are looking for a clinical researcher to work within the ElectroDiagnostic Imaging Unit at Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland. This post is for 1 year in the first instance although this could be extended to a maximum of 3 years. The research will involve the investigation of multifocal electroretinography as a non-invasive method for assessment of Retinal Ischaemia.
The research fellow employed on this project will require a wide range of skills. The individual will be expected to perform standard electrophysiological and ophthalmic examinations including Fluorescein Angiography. In addition to the direct clinical component, the project worker will also co-ordinate other investigative procedures and liase with members of the research and NHS staff. This position requires a clinical ophthalmologist at registrar level.
