Geneva University - post doc position - visual strategies for reading in case of central scotoma

The Ophthalmology Clinic of Geneva University Hospitals invites applications for a
postdoctoral position in visual sciences to take a leading role in a group studying eye movement strategies and visual adaptation in case of central scotoma and other visual field defects.
The laboratory has a several year experience in the field, and has appropriate instruments (scanning laser ophthalmoscope), with a software developed in the lab for recording eye movement changes on SLO recordings.
Previous experience in visual psychophysics (and if possible in reading) would be appreciated.
The position is immediately available for an initial probatory period of two years, which may be prolonged, and possibly become a stable position.
Applicants should preferably have a PhD in biological sciences or psychology.
