A postdoctoral position is available in our visual system neuroscience lab.
We are studying neuronal circuitry, primarily in the visual cortex. We use
elaborate stimulation techniques, quantitative approaches and multi-cell
recording to study how information is encoded and transmitted in central
visual pathways. An attempt is made to relate neuronal activity to
perceptual events. Current areas of interest include the neural basis of
binocular vision, contrast encoding and processing, and receptive field
organization. Our web site (address below) contains descriptions of our work
and lists recent papers.
