A post-doctoral position is available starting immediately to study
spatial perception and multisensory integration in normal subjects and
hemineglect patients. Applicants should have a strong background and
education in cognitive neuroscience and an open mind for computational
modeling. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience
with testing normal subjects and/or patients, or candidates who have
integrated experimental and modeling approaches in their doctoral
research. Most of the research will be carried out in Dr Pouget's
laboratory in the Brain and Cognitive Science department at the university
of Rochester. This project, however, is part of a collaboration with Dr
Jon Driver at the university College of London and some of the experiments
might be performed in the UK.
The department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the university of
Rochester (http://www.bcs.rochester.edu) offers a variety of laboratories
in the field of neuroscience, cognitive science and computational
neuroscience.
