Four PhD studentships are available to join the Wellcome Trust Laboratory for Magneto-encephalographic (MEG) Studies at the Neurosciences Research Institute, Aston University. This is the foremost MEG group in the UK and offers world-class facilities for research in this exciting and dynamic young research field. The project areas include: (1) Cortical plasticity within human vision; (2) Cross-modal interactions between vision, attention and action; (3) Photosensitive epilepsy; and (4) Development of methods to co-register MEG and fMRI data. Students with a first degree in a pure or applied science are encouraged to apply.
