West Virginia University is seeking a clinician scientist for a full-time
faculty position in Low Vision Rehabilitation. The successful candidate
will demonstrate a commitment to clinical service, teaching, research and
the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The Eye Institute at West Virginia University is moving into a new 45,000
square foot clinical and research facility of which 4500 square feet will
be devoted to clinical vision rehabilitation services. This represents a
unique opportunity to build upon an established program in low vision for
children and to develop a comprehensive low vision program for adults.
Responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, managing
day-to-day clinic operations, and teaching. Participation in research is
