Lecturer in Optometry

The University wishes to appoint a permanent lecturer in Optometry to
further the development of both Vision Science Research and Undergraduate
Optometry teaching at the Coleraine Campus.
Applicants must hold or be nearing completion of a Doctorate in Vision
Science and have at least two years' experience in Vision Science Research
and experience of teaching or demonstrating at tertiary level. Previous
presentation of research findings at a scientific meeting or in a scientific
journal is also essential.
A clinically related ophthalmic qualification in eg optometry, orthoptics or
ophthalmology is desirable.
Commencing Salary: #18,731 - #30,967 per annum.
