    Postdoctoral Fellow or Part-time Research Scientist
    Center for Hereditary Retinal Degenerations
    Department of Ophthalmology, University of Pennsylvania
     
    Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow
    or a part-time research scientist to work on understanding
    functional consequences of hereditary retinal degenerations
    and their potential treatments. The successful candidate will
    apply non-invasive methods including electrophysiology,
    psychophysics and imaging, to human patients and animals;
    mathematical modeling will be used to analyze the collected
    data within a physiological framework.

    An ideal applicant would have a Ph.D. in science or engineering,
    prior experience in vision research, and knowledge of programming
    in MATLAB and/or Visual C/C++. Please send a CV, and names and
