POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS AT MCGILL VISION RESEARCH Two postdoctoral positions in human visual psychophysics have become available at the McGill Vision Research Unit. The positions are for research into the combination of early-stage filters (both luminance and chromatic) for the perception of edges, surfaces and textures (3D as well as 2D). Candidates should have, or nearly have, a PhD and preferably experience with graphics programming (e.g. Macintosh, VSG). The McGill Vision Research Unit consists of about fifteen faculty/postdocs/graduate-students working on neurophysiological, psychophysical, computational and brain-imaging aspects of vision. Montréal is a very pleasant and relatively inexpensive city. Salary will be according to MRC/NSERC (Canada) guidelines and experience of candidate.
