0100,0100,0100PART-TIME OPTOMETRIST (FIXED-TERM ONE YEAR), OPTOM For this exciting opportunity, you should be an Optometrist who is aiming to gain experience in research. You will investigate patients with eye disorders, applying a novel model of human vision that has been developed in the Psychophysics Laboratory. Your duties will include selecting the patients (largely from the Optometry Clinic within the Department) for the study and collecting and analysing the psychophysical data, which will be in the form of contrast sensitivity measurements. You will also gain experience in computing and modelling of human spatial visual processing. You must have a good honours degree in optometry (UK qualification) and experience in computing is essential. You may use the data if proceeding to MSc or PhD studies. Salary: £22579 - £30065 per annum pro-rata (50% part-time).
