"PHOTOTRANSDUCTION" MEETING, 22-25 AUGUST 2001
Dunk Island, Queensland, Australia
A scientific meeting on "Phototransduction" will be held on Dunk Island,
in the waters of the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia, from
22-25 August 2001. This is an official pre-Congress satellite of the
IUPS Physiology Congress that will be held in Christchurch, New Zealand,
26-31 August.
The accommodation for the meeting is limited, because of the small size
of the island, and is now steadily filling up. If you are interested in
attending, then we urge you to register soon, and to book your
accommodation. Don't miss out! And now is a particularly good time to
pay, because the Australian dollar is at an all-time low, of approx. 51c
US.
Details about the meeting, and the registration form, are available at:
www.physiol.cam.ac.uk/IUPS/Dunk/
Confirmed speakers are: Vadim Arshavsky, Marie Burns, Jeannie Chen,
Carter Cornwall, Peter Detwiler, Sasha Dizhoor, Paul Hargrave, David
Hunt, Benjamin Kaupp, Satoru Kawamura, Juan Korenbrot, Trevor Lamb,
Clint Makino, Tetsuji Okada, Ed Pugh, and King-Wai Yau.
We very much hope you'll be able to attend, and we look forward to
seeing you on Dunk Island.
Trevor Lamb
(on behalf of the co-organisers: Denis Baylor and Edward Pugh)
