Applications are invited for Professorship (Grade C2) in Vision
Science. Primary teaching responsibilities will include refraction and
physiological optics. Candidates will also be expected to initiate and
supervise diploma projects. Lectures may be held in English in the
first instance.
Following completion of the initial probation period, and where the
candidate has not reached his or her 50th year, he or she will normally
achieve Civil Servant status.
Candidates should normally have a doctorate level degree, a commitment
to teaching and three years industry or practice experience.
