A position is available at the University of Houston College of Optometry
for a PhD-level researcher to study binocular vision and eye alignment
control. We are seeking an individual with a PhD in vision science,
experimental psychology or related area to work on an NIH-funded study of
disparity-vergence control. The research includes both psychophysical and
oculomotor measurements of binocular disparity processing in human
subjects. Experience with programming in MATLAB & Visual Basic, and
experience with eye tracking systems are plusses. Some previous
post-doctoral work is also a plus and salary will be commensurate with
experience.
