Lectureship in Neurophysiology
Applications are invited for a Lectureship in
Neurophysiology in the MacKay Institute of Communication &
Neuroscience within the School of Life Sciences at Keele
University. The successful applicant will be expected to
conduct neurophysiological research, preferably in the
areas of vision or hearing (although researchers with
interests in other areas of neuroscience are also
encouraged to apply) and to contribute to teaching in the
areas of systems physiology, neuroscience and cognitive
science. Applicants are expected to hols a PhD or
equivalent qualification and preferably have obtained some
relevant post-doctoral experience.
Salary will be on the Lecturer Grade A scale
(£18,731-£23,256). The post is available from October 1st
2001 but a later start date is negotiable.
