    Department of Optometry & Neuroscience

    TWO LECTURESHIPS/SENIOR LECTURESHIPS IN OPTOMETRY

Applications are invited for two Lectureships or Senior Lectureships
in Optometry. A PhD and evidence of first-class research potential
are essential. In addition to maintaining an energetic research
programme, the successful applicant will be expected to teach
undergraduate optometry, and offer an option course to final-year
students in either optometry or neuroscience.

A start-up package will be available and initial teaching and
administration loads will be kept to a minimum. Candidates should be
optometrically qualified and the commencing salary (Lecturer scale:
18,731-30,967 GBP per annum, Senior Lecturer scale: 32,510-36,740 GBP
per annum) will reflect this experience. The start date is September
1, 2001, or as soon as possible thereafter.
