Research Associate position available at the Schepens Eye Research
Institute, an affiliate of the Harvard Medical School in the laboratory of
Dr. Ann Elsner
A Research Associate position is available on or about July 1, 2001 to work
on a federally-funded project to build a prototype for retinal imaging, a
small, digital retinal imaging device, aimed at remote use in cases of
trauma. The position requires a Ph.D. or similar degree in engineering or
physics. Hands-on experience in building devices for photonics and digital
imaging is essential. Experience in biomedical applications is beneficial,
but can be acquired on the job. Funding for the prototype is for 12 months
at a competitive salary. This position include full benefits. Follow-on
projects are a possibility, subject to funding availability. For more
