Fechner Day 2001
The 200th birthday of G.Th. Fechner
Dear Colleagues,
we would like to inform you that the deadline for submission of proceedings contributions for the Fechner Day 2001 meeting has been shifted to August 10th. Also poster submissions may be announced throughout July. The shift was made in order to allow scientists who have learned of meeting very recently to actively participate. If you have already submitted poster titles or proceedings contributions please accept our apologies for this mail and our thanks for your punctuality.
At present there are 62 posters registered while several proceedings contributions have been fully processed. If you submit papers in Word 97 format, or above, you need not consider sending PS of PDF too as we have no problems to generate this format ourselves.
The updated preliminary program, the guidelines for preparation and submission of manuscripts for the proceedings volume, and the basic information you will need for planning your stay in Leipzig is available on our Fechner Day 2001 website

Information for students:
Until now, the ISP offered three grants for students involved in psychophysics. There is still the possibility that the ISP support further a few students who wish to attend the meeting and to present a poster (for further information, please look at "STUDENT FUNDING", Fechner Day website http://www.uni-leipzig.de/fechnerday )
