POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
Postdoctoral opportunity in CELLULAR- AND SYSTEMS-LEVEL BASIS OF BEHAVIOR,
specifically in VISUAL/OCULOMOTOR NEUROPHYSIOLOGY and computational studies
in behaving primates. Projects include studies of in vivo and in vitro
neurophysiology, sensorimotor signal transformations and quantitative
analysis of physiology and numerical models. Candidates with 2 or more
years postdoctoral experience will be hired into a Research Scientist
position with future opportunities for individual grant applications.
Salary commensurate with candidate experience and regional living expenses.
The laboratory is a part of the Department of Neurobiology & Behavior of
SUNY at Stony Brook, New York, USA. Stony Brook village is a quiet hamlet
on the north shore of Long Island with metropolitan NYC 60 miles to the
west; rural countryside and vineyards to the east.
