    Applications are invited for a two-year post-doctoral position at
    Stanford University, using fMRI to study visual motion perception,
    stereo vision, visual pattern discrimination, attention, visual
    working memory, reading, and/or the control of eye
    movements. Information describing the research in my laboratory on can
    be found at http://white.stanford.edu/~heeger.

    Necessary qualifications include a PhD in neuroscience, psychology, or
    MRI physics/engineering; experience performing visual neuroscience or
    psychophysics experiments, or experience with fMRI pulse
    programming/acquisition.

    Start date is flexible, preferably January 2002 but no later than June
    2002. Salary level will depend upon the applicant's experience, but
    will be no less than $29,000 per year. Stanford University is an equal
