COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY - MIAMI UNIVERSITY. The Department of Psychology
seeks to fill a position in cognitive psychology at the Assistant Professor
level. The Department offers a Ph. D. in Psychology with concentrations in
Brain and Cognitive Science, Clinical, and Social Psychology and has a
strong reputation for undergraduate education. The applicant's primary
research may be in any area of perception or cognition. It is expected that
candidates will have applied interests that will enable them to contribute
to a program in human factors and ergonomics and that their expertise will
permit them to offer graduate course work in quantitative methods. The
successful candidate must have completed the Ph.D. by August 1, 2002 and
will be responsible for establishing a research program in their area of
interest,
graduate and undergraduate teaching and supervision of doctoral research.
