The Psychology Department, State University of New York at Stony Brook,
invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in
COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY. Pending budgetary approval, the appointment would
begin Fall 2001. Applicants must have a record of first-rate research and
should be prepared to provide high-quality teaching within our undergraduate
and graduate programs. We are particularly interested in individuals with
expertise in memory, but outstanding scientists in any area of Cognitive
Psychology are encouraged to apply. Stony Brook has a very strong and
growing group in Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience and offers an
unusually supportive research environment and competitive salaries in a
seaside community 60 miles from Manhattan.
