    Post-Doctoral Position: Laboratory of Sensorimotor Research
    National Eye Institue, National Institutes of Health

    A postdoctoral position is available immediately in Kirk Thompson’s lab in
    the Laboratory of Sensorimotor Research, National Eye Institute, National
    Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD. The research focuses on the neural
    basis of perception and action in the frontal cortex of behaving monkeys.
    The lab is equipped with state of the art equipment including two
    multi-electrode recording systems. There are also opportunities for fMRI
    and behavioral studies in monkeys and humans.

    Candidates must have a completed Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, have less than 5
    years postdoctoral experience and have a background in neurophysiology,
    cognitive psychology, and/or computational neuroscience. Programming skills
    (C, Matlab) are a plus. Starting stipend range is $30,800 - $42,400
    depending on experience.
