POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN VISUAL PERCEPTION
PI: Randolph Blake

Two post-doctoral positions are available in Randolph Blake's
laboratory at Vanderbilt University; both have flexible starting
dates and both provide support for multiple years. One NIH-funded
position is for the psychophysical study of perceptual organization,
with particular emphasis on the role of temporal factors in visual
grouping. The other position, also funded by a NIH grant, entails the
study of binocular rivalry, using psychophysical techniques together
with fMRI. Blake's laboratory is part of the Vanderbilt Vision
Research Center, an active, well-funded group of cognitive scientists
and neuroscientists using a variety of techniques to study visual
perception and its neural concomitants:
