TENURED OR TENURE-TRACK APPOINTMENT
The Department of Psychology seeks to make a tenured or tenure-track
appointment (rank open) in the area of COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT. The
primary criteria for appointment will be excellence in research and
teaching. This position will begin September 1, 2002 pending
budgetary and administrative approval. A Ph.D. is required, and
salary will be commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will interact with faculty in Cognition and
the department's developmental concentration, which includes faculty

The Department of Psychology seeks to make a tenured or tenure-track
appointment (rank open) in the area of COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE. The
NYU Faculty of Arts and Science has an ongoing commitment to develop
excellence in Cognitive Neuroscience. In addition to joining a
psychology research faculty, the successful candidate will
participate in the new Brain Imaging Center and affiliate with the
Center for Neural Science, both in our building. The successful
candidate will also have access to brain imaging facilities on NYU's
medical campus and opportunities to collaborate with medical faculty.

appointment (rank open) in the area of PSYCHOPATHOLOGY. The primary
criteria for appointment will be excellence in research and teaching.
We seek candidates whose research expertise complements those in one
or more of the existing departmental doctoral programs (e.g.,
social-personality, community, cognition-perception) or areas of
specialization (developmental, quantitative). The successful
candidate will have the opportunity to engage with other faculty in
Cognitive Neuroscience, Experimental Social Sciences, and the Medical
School. This position will begin September 1, 2002 pending budgetary
and administrative approval. A Ph.D. is required, and salary will be
