TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
SYSTEMS NEUROSCIENCE / PERCEPTUAL SYSTEMS
The Center for Perceptual Systems at The University of Texas at Austin is
currently inviting applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment
at the Assistant Professor level to begin September 1st, 2002. Candidates
must have a Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited institution and a
demonstrated ability to pursue an independent research program. Salary
will be commensurate with experience. We are interested in candidates
investigating the functioning of sensory and perceptual systems from a
strong neuroscience perspective. Preference will be given to candidates
investigating either neural correlates of perceptual function in awake
behaving organisms or the relationships between perceptual systems,
behavior, and the environment. The successful candidate will be expected
to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program and to
participate in pedagogical activities at both the graduate and
