POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE IN VISUAL PERCEPTION
A post-doctoral position is available in the Liu and Engel
laboratories at UCLA. The position is for research investigating
human vision using psychophysical and possibly neuroimaging
techniques. The position is flexible with respect to the specific
research project. Possible topics include: perceptual learning,
three-dimensional shape perception, and perceptual grouping and
completion. UCLA is home to a large community of researchers in
vision including Steve Engel, John Hummel, Phil Kellman, Zili Liu,
Dario Ringach, Stefano Soatto, and Stan Schein.
Applicants should have good quantitative skills, including computer
programming. The position is for one year with the strong possibility
of two years renewal. The starting date is flexible, and salary and
benefits are at NIH post-doctoral training levels.
