PhD Studentship in Smart Optics (One Post)

Two Research Associateships (RA) and one research studentship are
available now. Post 1 (RA) is funded by The Wellcome Trust and is
concerned with retinal imaging in neonatal infants using adaptive
optics: it is available for up to 27 months. Post 2 (RA) is funded
by EPSRC and is concerned with adaptive optics in Nd:YAG lasers: it
is available for up to 24 months. Post 3 is a PhD studentship fully
funded by Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in the area of smart optics.

For the Research Associate posts, good background in practical optics
is desirable, although Post 1 applicants may alternatively be trained
