    Ladies and Gentlemen:

    The NEI continues to be receptive to funding grants in the low-vision
    area. The attached workshop announcement is aimed at familiarizing
    vision researchers with the potential for fundable low-vision research.
    The workshop will be held at The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute
    on January 28, 2002.
