SENIOR SEARCH, DIRECTOR, UCSB BRAIN IMAGING CENTER 

The Department of Psychology at the University of California Santa Barbara,
invites applications for a senior Cognitive Neuroscientist (Associate or
Full Professor) and Director of the UCSB Brain Imaging Center to begin on or
after July 1, 2005. The department is especially interested in candidates
who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community
through research, teaching and service. Preference will be given to
applicants whose research builds on strengths of the department's existing
faculty (see http://www.psych.ucsb.edu). The Director of the new UCSB Brain
Imaging Center will manage overall operations of this research-dedicated
facility that focuses on fMRI. The center is allocated approximately 3000
assignable square feet in the basement of the new addition to the Psychology
Building. Ph.D. in Psychology or related field and a strong record of funded
research is required at time of appointment. Please send a vita, statement
of teaching and research interests, representative publications, and names
