Department of Bioengineering
Imperial College London

Salary: £35,001 to £39,094 per annum.

We seek to appoint a new academic staff member in our expanding  
department. The Department of Bioengineering, a part of the Faculty of  
Engineering, applies Engineering and Physical Science to a wide range  
of problems in Medicine and Biology. It has a long and prestigious  
history and was awarded a 5* rating in the 2001 Research Assessment  
exercise. For further information on the diverse research the

You must be able to demonstrate a strong record in innovative research.  
You will either be involved in work in areas that complement our  
current research activities or will be involved in developing novel  
activities. The department views Bioengineering as an essentially  
interdisciplinary venture and there are ample opportunities for  
collaboration with other groups and faculties within Imperial College.  
An excellent candidate may be eligible for a RCUK fellowship.
