Professor in Motor Control/Neuroscience

The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences has a long history of excellence in scholarly activity and the enviable position of being the only UK Sports & Exercise Institution with a 5** ( RAE ) rating, and QAA grade of 24. We have also recently been designated a Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning, which will allow for an expansion of our entrepreneurial activity. In order to expand our international reputation we now seek an experienced academic to drive a significant research agenda in our world-class facilities. The school has invested heavily in a new Movement Function Laboratory, which is designed to cement research links internally between our Biomechanists and Motor Control Specialists. Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Motor Control and Learning or Cognitive Psychology or Behavioural Neurosciences

 

One year fixed term in the first instance (£19,645 - £29,715)

The Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences (RISES) has a post as Research Fellow in Motor Control and Learning/Cognitive Psychology/Behavioural Neurosciences. You will help to develop research agenda in this area and should have a higher degree in a related discipline and a good publication profile. You will join a 5** (RAE) rated research group, which has state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
