The ARC Centre of Excellence in Vision Science is seeking to appoint a 
dynamic research scientist at its ANU node to compliment the research 
undertaken within the Centre. Current research is focused on unravelling 
the cellular basis of visual sensing and processing, revealing the 
algorithms that underlie the visual control of behaviour and perception, 
and on discovering the cellular mechanisms that make the eye and retina 
stable, and whose breakdown causes blindness.

Applicants should have demonstrated research experience in at least one 
of the Centre’s key research areas and the ability to run an 
internationally competitive research programme in your chosen area of 
expertise.
