[visionlist] PhD in Vision Science at UC Berkeley

  *The University of California, Berkeley is now accepting applications for
the PhD in Vision Science*.

The UC Berkeley Vision Science Graduate Program welcomes admissions
applications from students interested in vision research. Most students are
supported through a training grant from the NIH/NEI. Funding is provided for
pre-doctoral trainees, as well as post-doctoral (clinician) trainees,
pursuing a PhD in Vision Science. We would appreciate your assistance in
identifying and contacting students who are considering a career in vision
research.

*On Monday, November 24 the Vision Science Group will host the*
Vision Research Forum
The forum provides prospective students with a chance to explore
opportunities in vision research.
Designed for those with an eye toward pursuing a PhD or MS degree in Vision
Science, the forum offers prospective applicants  various benefits,
including:
*Overview of vision related research topics*
*Admissions and graduate funding information*
*Interaction with potential research mentors*
*Lab tours & Faculty research talks*
*Program lectures*

Because our program is completely interdisciplinary, trainees have the
