A 2 year fully funded postdoctoral position is available in the Vision Research Lab of Prof Frank Werblin at UC Berkeley. Applicants should have a substantial background in retinal electrophysiology, vision science, visual processing in retina and/or higher centers. Projects include studies of retinal circuitry underlying visual function, retinal pharmacology, molecular tools for visual prosthetics including the use of artifical rhodopsins to restore vision in the blind.
