Visual Perception in Context
Two postdoctoral positions are available in the Computational and
Biological Vision Group (CBVG) and the National Research Center for
Magnetic Resonance (UMRAM) at Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey), for
researchers interested in the neural basis of visual perception, with
an emphasis on the effects of context on visual perceptual processes.
The positions start immediately. The contracts will be given for 1
year initially and will be renewable for up to 2.5 years.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in psychology, neuroscience,
physics, biology, computer science or a related field. Solid
programming skills (Java, Matlab), experience with fMRI,
psychophysical methods and eyetracking are of advantage.

The center offers excellent research facilities, they include a
Siemens Magnetom Trio 3T MR Scanner, an ASL MR safe eyetracker, and a
psychophysics setup. UMRAM and CBVG (http://vision.bilkent.edu.tr)
