£44,930 - £52,086 p.a.
This post is part of an exciting new collaboration between the Department of
Vision and Hearing Sciences and Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. The
successful applicant will work closely with Addenbrooke's Hospital providing
a visual electrodiagnostic service and, by tertiary referral, to
ophthalmology departments throughout the region.
You will have a PhD in Vision Sciences (or related field) with substantial
experience of advanced electrodiagnostic testing in a clinical environment
and a working knowledge of ophthalmology.
A sound practical understanding of laboratory instrumentation and computer
programming is also required. You will have demonstrated ability to conduct
independent research as evidenced by your publication record and grant
income.
Experience in a higher education setting or other relevant professional
experience in clinical electrophysiology is required for this position.
Principal Lecturers contribute to the broad range of the Department's
activities but a significant contribution to the Department's research
activities is required.
