[visionlist] Postdoctoral position in machine learning and computer vision at Carnegie Mellon University

The Human Sensing Laboratory (http://humansensing.cs.cmu.edu) is looking for
a postdoctoral researcher in the area of  machine learning and computer
vision.   

 

The candidate will be responsible for developing novel machine learning
algorithms for visual learning.  A proven record of publications in top
vision and/or machine learning conferences is required. The postdoctoral
researcher will coordinate the work of two graduate students. The project
will be programmed entirely in Matlab. This will initially be a one year
position with the possibility of an extension pending funding.

soon as possible and preferably before April 1st, 2010,   but later
applications may be considered until the position is filled.
