[visionlist] VSS 2010 scientific workshop invitation

You are invited to take part in a scientific workshop titled "Visual
Search: Bridging the Gap between Laboratory Experiments and Real-World
Application".  The aim of the workshop is to bring together government
scientists and academic researchers in the field of visual search.
Discussions will focus on possible research investigations that could
translate to operational environments. In particular, what predictions
can we generate surrounding visual search in a real-world context? How
should we test these predictions in an operational environment? And how
can laboratory experiments in visual search address and be inspired by
the problems faced by working imagery analysts? The workshop will be
held at VSS and will take place on Monday, May 10, 10:00 - 11:30 am, in
Acacia 5. To express your interest in attending the workshop, please
