The Elite School of Optometry celebrates its 25th anniversary in the
form of the ESO International Vision Science and Optometry Conference
– EIVOC 2010. The conference will host a number of prominent names in
vision science and optometry. A sample of the confirmed speakers/talks
is listed below:
Jay M Enoch: Rays of light and hands of God: A fascinating Egyptian application
Vasudevan Lakshminarayanan (Vengu): Prediction of visual acuity from
ocular aberration measurements
Eli Peli: Assistive devices for impaired vision

possible underlying mechanisms

As could be seen from the sample of talks listed above, EIVOC 2010
will cover a wide spectrum of areas such as clinical optometry,
contact lens, low vision, refractive errors, binocular vision,
community optometry, optometry education and much more.
In addition to the scientific presentation, EIVOC 2010 also hosts a
large number of workshops and symposia targeted towards students and
practitioners. Some of the workshops that have been planned are:

“Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods” on the 11th of August,
2010.

about the scientific sessions, workshops/symposia, submission of

available for students of optometry studying within India.
